so i was reviewing all my other very well spaced out posts and i was reading what i wrote about tony and wow. i still feel that way and it's been over a year since i posted that! warm and fuzzy moment. otherwise things are about the same. austina is now engaged, living in denver, and almost done with her frosh year at DU. There was some karate drama at the beggining of the year so brett and i are no longer part of ABBA but are now part of All World Martial Arts and it's been much better. family is family, things are pretty good considering. i love tony. school is hard but getting more managable and the end is sort of in sight. good times. get a myspace like i said to know more haha!

so things to know:

3- tony gets home in less than 2 weeks! i'm already planning and packing for our little get away in denver
4- tony is getting home from basic because he joined the army national guard. to pay for school. so yes i have hot boy in uniform woo!
5- i hope everyone is doing good and all that jazz- enjoy the winter!

so i figured everyone deserves a nice big update since that's what these things really are for so here goes:

1. yes i did break up with chad. i decided it wasn't right and frankly that something better had come along as terrible as that is, but mostly i decided that even if he was here i still didn't know if it was worth the energy i was putting into the relationship to get so little out of it. and i think he was kinda thinking the same.

2. i am now dating a fabulous guy named tony who wow is really incredible. yes i know you're thinking "oh it's just puppy love" but it's me, and i have never been this in love this fast. well honestly i've only been in love one other time and we all know that was complicated. we knew each other in high school, ironically i saw his facebook, messaged him, and we ended up hanging out and it progressed from there to something really cool and now we're very happy, we just hit a month a few weeks ago, and it's very exciting for both of us to have a fufilling, long lasting relationship.

3. brett and brad are no longer really friends. which is most senses is terrible. it really has been hard on brett and no one really knows where the heck brad is at which scares us all. but in some ways it's good because brett has realized that he has been neglecting many of his other friends who are equally as important in his life and this is allowing him to get closer to them once again. so brett and i are getting closer, he has taken aj under his wing and is helping the moberly's a lot as well as, of course, getting more and more into running the dojo.

4. taylor is no longer my friend. i think i talk to one person that i knew through her and that's matt but he is also april's friend and actually liked me for me not just because i was taylor's friend and had boobs. so yea. i don't have any passion to ever speak to her again and you cannot believe the burden it has released from me as far as how much energy i was wasting on her. it's so awesome.

5. my life is really turning around. i really am exciting about my new personal/social journey that i am on, as well as a spiritual reconnection that has been well needed.

6. nursing school is nursing school. i'm freaking out but so does everybody else. i'll push through and we'll see in the end what God has in store for me.

7. austina is moving back around may 20th for the summer, although she will be in australia for a month then is hoping to find an apartment in july so they can start their lease and get moved before school starts, but it'll be fun having her here again!

8. that's about it, the biggest thing was tony, and i am very happy so don't worry about me. check out facebook or myspace for pics :] it's glorious.

thirdly. to the demise and many shaking of heads my love life has once again taken a turn. but this time for the better. if you must ask, ask. if not just know i'm happy and while i hate having to break up with the former guy, my guy now is fabulous and i think in the end it is all for the best because chad and i can now go out seperate ways and find people who will really suit us instead of continuing to wait to see if it will work with us- which i've found it probably won't.

so at this point in time i am faced with a very odd, very crucial decision.

never have i been so persued by two people who i am both genuinely interested in, and who have qualities in them which i desire in a relationship.

but nothing is serious, because the first is not currently present in the same area of the world as i am and therefore did not commit to anything with me and i did not find any problems with that, sure guys came along but nothing serious.

then a second player enters, someone from before who is just as awesome now, and what do i do? he is interested, i am technically not taken, but now i feel as though i must choose.

do i tell the one far away that really i do want to keep it just very close friends until he gets back, and persue something casually serious with the other, or do i commit to the one far away and tell the one here no thanks.

so for all you faithful lj users here i am in australia enjoying my vacation with my family. my grandmother, mom, ashely (1st cousin), jade (1st cousin), and i all came down here to see my mom's cousins (my 2nd cousins i guess) who are actually closer to my age. it's a huuuuuge age span between my grandma and her bother craig so he's like the same age as my mom while my gradmother is in a totally different generation. anyhoo it's been tons of fun. 18's the drinking age here so that means i can get into clubs and what not which has been fun to go dancing and watching my cousins get drunk :]

i get home the 6th and am expecting warm welcomes and christmas presents (ok well i might be ok if there aren't presents) and to hang out with everyone who is home on vacation. my birthday's the 11th anyone up for bowling? i think i wanna actually DO something. who knows. i'm thinking of going skiing maybe on the 14th but i dunno. $$ is always a problem. especially if i wanna go to detroit for spring break. well then righto.

it's been go go go here until just recently, we've finally slowed a bit to take a breather and it's nice because i up and got SICK! can you believe it? my stupid sinus infection came back. oh well my dad's all smart and thought ahead and sent me a refil of ammoxicillian at the beggining of my trip just in case and it should be here tomorrow so yay! my dad isn't totally useless.

yay for harry potter

sorry if i'm in a bad mood- i'm just dealing with lots of crap right now and am not having a very good time at it so yea. it's most likely not your fault, and so don't take it personally, it's just the mood that i'm in, it feels like the whole world is screwing me over so i feel like i have to fight everything at times. i'll get over it soon probably.

monday was ok. hung out with april and nick and then picked up taylor but then we went back to daniel's and daniel was there and he was an ass to me which sucked. got to meet nick's parent's and taylor's matt. tuesday. sucky. micro was horrible as always, and then i crashed at my parents 'cause i felt like crap. then i came home and did nothing and went to bed after trying to call daniel so see what his problem was and taking a shower and lo and behold daniel calls and breaks up with me. but it's ok i mean it sucked but i'm pretty much over it i mean i'm glad he did it now instead of a few more months down teh road when things started getting really serious. but i still hope he thinks of me as a friend and will ask me to help him if he needs it 'cause i think he needs lots of supportive friends right now to get his life back where he wants it and that's all
wednesday. nothing too interesting.
thursday. i met chadwick short- army dude. through taylor and her guy matt. interesting, we got along, it was kind of a blind date in a way when we went down to ft carson so i was like um ok he wants to meet me on what conditions? 'cuase i'm not really the kind of girl typical army guys go for. he turned out to be pretty ok.
friday. talked to chad on the phone and it was cool
saturday. talked to chad and went on post after work after a like 45 min conversation on the phone with him, slept there (absolutely nothing happened except it snowed that morning), then went to breakfast which was cool and hung out. turns out he's really nice and sweet and doesn't just want booty. so yea. but he leaves for iraq in like 3 weeks
sunday. taylor's freaking out and wants to get on post but i'm at work, so i offer to pick her up. so i go down and hang out with chad until she's supposed to call, doesn't happen. then we walk out to my car'cuase it's after curfew at the barracks but she's not ready for me to pick her up so chad just like hangs out with me in teh cold air and then we hang out in my car and yea. like i said, leaves for iraq super soon so yea glad i met him, he's a nice guy, he's not trying to get anything out of me, so we're having fun just hanging out but yea. i'm not getting attatched because he's leaving. so i'm still pretty much single but it's ok.
so then ends up taylor is just going to have someone else take her home in the morning, this is frustrating, and yes. well blah. lots of other drama happened but yea... it's over i think so it's all good.
today. nothing much. studyed for my micro test. i hate that class but i still need an A 'cuase i just do. *sigh* went down to post to see taylor's friend who's leaving in 2 days for cali, called chad but he didnt' answer so i went by the dojo and saw everybody. sue was there which rocked- she's outa the hospital yay! and i talked to brett who's an uncle now. *sigh* did i tell anyone about my weird dream involving him? probably not because it was really quite odd. got to see dan and sandi too. i miss my karate friends but i'm sick and bonding with other people right now.

things are not spectacular, but not the most terrible in the world. but more closer to terrible. so life goes on.

thanks for listening to me meck about crapyness all during midterm week. i was relieved to find out that my microbiology mini quiz didn't happen and the micro unit test was moved to today (we'll see about that... T/F was killer but MC was awesome so we'll see). yay!

so now my concentration must revolve upon catching up on my reading (6 psych chapter,1 micro) this weekend while i work, and my nidan test!!!!!! ack!!! so next week i'm going to be hitting the karate hard to do some last minute reviewing for my test.

it's friday october 28 at the Sheraton Inn off of circle and I25 for anyone who wants to come watch! it'll probably start between 5:30 and 6:00 pm and you can call me if you wanna come- it's a pretty small test but whatever.

yay! and i'm starting to feel a lot better. cept i now have this cough thing but at least no more sore throat and weird nasal congestion so i'm sleeping better and it's exciting!

so i'm chillin'. got a tv. it's bueno. so yea.... i dunno i think i'm going to daniel's to watch some south park. i'm in a thinking mood but i don't know what to say. hm.... oh well.

woo. friday. the only part that sucks about friday is that i have to work. but the good part is that midterms are over, i don't have class on monday morning and i don't have to work sunday so i get to just chill. i think i have to go to work tonight whether i like it or not but eh i guess it's ok 'cause it's money. and i'm bartending so it's not nearly as physically demanding which is nice.

i kinda have to work tomorrow to (sucky!) oh well. at least i have some time off later on in the weekend (thank the lord for my music theory class being canceled monday!)

i have NO idea what HW i have to do but i'm sure i'll have to get on that pretty soon. i hate how it never ends. all i want to do is just take a nap, maybe go hang out with daniel later, but nope. i gotta wait for the service guy to fix my heater and then i gotta go run errands (but i can make those errands include seeing daniel which is cool) and then go to work. BLEH maybe i can squeeze a nap in. mmmmm nap....... ok. thanks for listening to me meck about the bleh-ness of being sick and midterms. hm.

hm. my neighboor John got me flowers post midterms and his 22 yr old army dude son is going to take me out to dinner. interesting.
